Understanding Modules

A module defines the behavior for the contact flow and specifies the default messages (phrases) to be displayed to customers.

In this release, the Contact Flow Engine (CFE) modules have been organized into new palettes by function, and each module has a new icon that depicts its core feature.

Additionally, the maximum number of modules allowed per contact flow during an upgrade has been increased from 350 to 800. In combination with the new Transition module, you can now handle large complex contact flows with ease.

Upgrading modules

The CFE automatically updates older versions of modules in a contact flow to newer versions while retaining existing module properties.
