The phone DNC editor tool allows you to associate phone numbers with a contact group. Contact groups enable you to combine phone numbers that should not be contacted. When you add a phone number to a contact group, the phone number is blocked for services associated with that contact group only. If a phone number does not have an associated contact group, the number is restricted at dial-time for all the services on the portal.

For example, a phone number 510-555-7777 with Wells Fargo Contact Group is added to the DNC list.  At the time of dialing, the phone number is blocked if it is dialed on a Service with DNC Contact Group = Wells Fargo. For information about Contact Groups, see Creating a Contact Group.

You can add DNC entries by using one of the following methods:

  • FTP/SFTP (if configured)
    • File upload to the DNC system
