Dial-Time Phone DNC offers you the ability to prevent contacts at the following levels:

Contact

  • Account (Daily or Permanent)
  • Account + Phone (Daily or Permanent)
  • Account + Phone + SMS Consent
  • Account + Phone + Cell Consent
  • Account + Email Consent
  • The above settings are enabled in the Contacts Manager. See the Phones tab section in Managing Contacts for more information.
  • By default, the Days of Contact Retention is set to 90 days from the last load date. Consider sending an updated file within the set retention time frame before the contact records are purged.
  • You can add a maximum of 10,000,000 DNC lists per channel for Voice, Email, and SMS channels.

Phone DNC/SMS Suppression List

  • A phone number is required to create an entry for Phone DNC or SMS suppression list. The Phone DNC list prevents a phone call and the SMS suppression list prevents an SMS.
  • An expiration date and/or contact group can also be included when creating an entry.

Email Suppression List

  • An email is required to create an entry and will prevent emails from being sent.
  • An expiration date and/or contact group can also be included when creating an entry.
  • All records are compared to the Phone DNC/SMS suppression list/Email suppression list at the time of dialing/messaging/emailing. This includes records added to the Phone DNC/SMS suppression list/Email suppression list during the life of the campaign.
  • While functionality within Dial-Time Phone DNC does not require account+phone information to be included in the Contacts manager, to take full advantage this feature has, it is recommended that you include the information.
