Enable/Disable Date Masking
You can now enable or disable data masking for dates across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Chat. When enabled, conversations across all channels will replace text resembling dates within the messages as XXXX. Conversely, when disabled, text resembling dates remains unaltered. For example, when date masking is enabled, the customer's date of birth or transaction date will appear as XXXX in the messages while the customer's phone number or account details remain unchanged.
To enable or disable this option, contact the SmartReach Customer Care team.
Enhancements to the Export Format Editor
The Export Format editor has been upgraded to incorporate Call Recording data when exporting information in CSV format. You can now include a new mapping entity called Call Recording when configuring export formats using the Report Map editor. This improvement ensures more precise metadata definition in the Call Data Records (CDRs), resulting in more reliable processing of interaction files.
Expanded Time-Zone Options
You can now select a time zone from a wider range of available time zones. You can select your preferred time zone from the drop-down list at Configure > Client >Settings level.
- Standard time zones of countries are supported.
- Daylight Savings Time start date and end date vary based on the time zone. Individual regions, countries, or cities within a time zone can vary in how, when, and whether they observe Daylight Savings Time (DST). This information changes often. For this reason, we have not listed current variations within a time zone.
- The Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) offset is the time subtracted from or added to UTC time to specify the local time.

Support for Special Characters in the Agent First and Last Name
Along with letters (a-z) and numbers (0-9), the Agent First and Last Name fields now support space ( ), dot (.), single quote ('), and hyphen (-) characters.
