Devices

Adding a Device

To add a device:

1. Navigate to Phones & Devices > Devices and click the Add Device button.

2. In the Add Device screen, enter the required details in each of the tabs.

   1. Basic Details tab

      Field	Description
      Device Name	Specify the device name
      MAC Address	Enter the MAC address
      Device Type	Select the device type from the drop-down
      Firmware	Select the firmware from the drop-down
      Assign To	Select the user that the device must be assigned to
      Location	Select the location of the device
      Time Zone	Select the time zone from the drop-down

   2. Configuration tab

      1. Add Lines to Device

         If you select an existing SIP profile and click Add Line, the Label, Server, and Username details are auto-populated.

         Field	Description
         Line Number	Specify the line number
         Label	Enter a label
         Server Address	Enter the server address
         Port	Enter the port details
         Transport	TCP UDP TLS DNS SRV
         Authorization ID	Enter the authorization ID required for the line
         Username	Enter the username
         Password	Enter a password for the username mentioned above
         Outbound Proxy Address - 1	Enter the outbound proxy address
         Outbound Proxy Port - 1	Enter the outbound proxy port details
         Outbound Proxy Address - 2	Enter an alternate outbound proxy address
         Outbound Proxy Port - 2	Enter an alternate outbound proxy port details

      2. Add Keys to the Device

         Click Add Key

         Field	Description
         Line	Specify the line number
         Category	Select the category from the drop-down
         Key	Select the key from the drop-down
         Type	Select the type from the drop-down
         Value	Enter the key value
         Label	Enter the label name

      3. Add Variables to Device

         Click Add Variable

         Field	Description
         Name	Enter a variable name
         Value	Enter a value for the variable
         Description	Enter a description for the variable
         Enabled	Select if enabled or disabled

3. Click Save Device to complete the process and return to the Devices screen.
