The Functions feature enables you to establish a connection between LiveVox and external applications (such as Jira or Salesforce) through API requests. You can use the Functions feature to create multiple security models and pass data (for example, Contact Manager and scripter data) in the application programming interface (API) calls. You can also specify the events for which you want function calls triggered (for example, when an account is created).

Accessing the Functions Feature

To access the Functions feature:

  1. Access Designer.
    The Designer window appears.
  2. Click Functions. 
    The Functions window is displayed.

    The descriptions for the numbers are listed below:

    Create API: Allows you to create an API. Click the Add API  icon.

    Functions: The tab lists both in-built and custom APIs.

    		System Function Library: Contains a list of in-built APIs.

    Client Function Library: Lists the custom APIs
