Data is a vital step toward creating a script. You can plan on the data elements you want to add to your script even before creating a script. You can add different types of data, such as Screenpop data and Script data. You add data from the Account, Contacts, and Ticketing database from the LVP to the elements in the script.

The Data tab contains two options to load the data:

  • Params
  • Import Screenpop

Params: Provides a list of the following options:

  • Screenpop Data: When you add the elements/controls to the design page from the Elements area, you need to add the variable to support the element. For example, when you add the customer first name and last name controls, you need to add the data to support the variable.
  • Script Data: You can add script-related data to support the elements/controls for proceeding further with the script. For example, when you add the Yes or No buttons in a page, you need a confirmation from the agent to move further with the script.
  • Contact Data: The Data is pulled from the Contact data, you can see the contact parameters. Select the required fields one after the other to the Data pane.
  • Ticket Data: The Data is pulled from the Ticket data, you can see the contact parameters. Select the required fields one after the other to the Data pane.
  • Account Data: The Data is pulled from the Account data, you can see the contact parameters. Select the required fields one after the other to the Data pane.

Import ScreenPop: Provides the ability to import variables associated with the Service to which the script is associated. The data elements that will be passed to the desktop from the service are defined in the LiveVox platform as “Screen Pop” variables. Users can import these variables into the script without having to create these manually.
