A user is locked out after a set number of failed login attempts. This requires intervention from a permitted user. The number of allowed failed attempts is configurable in the Client editor under the Security tab. By default, users are allowed five failed logins.
To unlock a user:
- Navigate to Configure > System > User editor. As illustrated below, the system displays a closed lock icon before the locked user's name.
- Click the lock icon. You are presented with the Confirm pop-up.
- Select Yes to unlock the user.
