Human Text Initiator (HTI)

The Human Text Initiator service enables agents (Clicker Agents) to manually launch text messages. When configured, the HTI service type is available from the General tab of the Services editor.

  • For assistance with an HTI configuration, contact the Account Team.
  • The number of messages sent by an agent is controlled by the 10 Digit Long Code (DLC) Short Message Service (SMS) number type, which is a 3 SMS per second throughput.

In addition to enabling Clicker Agents to launch text messages, HTI supports the following functionalities for the HTI service type:

  • Includes HTI as an option for a campaign type in Campaigns Manager and Contact Manager.
  • Enables you to search the Clicker Efficiency Report by HTI service type.
  • Allows you to run the Call Detail Report (CDR)  jobs with the HTI as the service type.
  • Enables agents other than Closer Agents to reply to SMS messages. Closer Agents are not required to launch the SMS messages.

SMS Monitor Dashboard

Any active SMS interaction record on the SMS Monitor dashboard displays the thread history even if the interaction is not associated with a contact record.
