You can use LV PBX to handle internal calls, route calls to specific departments or individuals, and manage voicemail and other call-related functionalities per your service request.

Dialing a Call

You can launch and use the system dial pad to dial the required phone number.

To dial a call using the LV PBX:

  1. Click Ready.
    The dial pad gets launched.

  2. Specify the phone number and click Dial.


  3. The Calling message pops up. You have an option to disconnect the call if required.
  4. When the call is connected, the system displays a Call Connected message.
  5. You can perform the following actions after your call is connected:
    1. Transfer: Transfers the call to an internal extension number.
    2. Hold and Resume: Places the call on hold and then resumes the call. 
    3. End call: Ends the call.
    4. Mute and unmute: Click the microphone icon () to mute and unmute your side of the call.
    5. Loudspeaker: Click the speaker icon () to place the call on speaker. 

Transferring a Call

After the call is connected, you can transfer an outbound or inbound call.

When the call is connected, you can transfer a call only to an internal extension.

To transfer a call:

  1. Click the Transfer button on your dial pad.
    A Transfer Call dialog box is displayed.
  2. Specify the extension number to which you want to transfer the call and click Transfer.
    The call is transferred to the specified extension number.
