A user is locked out after a set number of failed login attempts. This requires intervention from a permitted user. The number of allowed failed attempts is configurable in the Client editor under the Security tab. By default, users are allowed five failed logins.

Only Sysadmin users have the ability to unlock other users who have unsuccessfully tried to log into the LiveVox Portal.

To unlock a user:

  1. Navigate to Configure > System > User editor. As illustrated below, the system displays a closed lock icon before the locked user's name.

  2. Click the lock icon. You are presented with the Confirm pop-up.
  3. Select Yes to unlock the user.
