You can add, search for, or purchase a number to use as the inbound number in call flows.

Add a number

  1. Navigate to Phone System Numbers. In the Numbers screen, click the add number link to open the Add Number screen.

    Make sure that you own the numbers before you add them. If you are not sure whether you own the numbers, contact your LiveVox BusinessPhone representative, or purchase a number. (purchase from who? what are the regulations here?)

  2. Enter the description of the number and select the required values for the location and region.

  3. Click Save Number to complete the process and return to the Numbers screen.

Purchase a number

  1. Navigate to Phone System Numbers and click the Provision Number(s) button.

    The Search Numbers screen appears.
  2. Select the required details in each of the fields and click Search Number(s).
  3. In the Search Results screen, select the numbers that you wish to purchase and click the Provision Numbers button. 
  4. In the confirmation pop-up window, click Yes, Purchase to complete the order. and return to the Numbers screen. The purchased number now appears in the Numbers table.

Edit or delete a number

  1. Navigate to Phone Numbers > Numbers and click the required entry in the Numbers table. The Edit Number Details screen appears.
  2. Select the domain on which to host the number, and modify the description, location, or region details as required. (why is this field grayed out and how it is populated? the help icon text reads 'select a domain'.)
  3. The next actions you may take on this page are:

    Click to delete the number. In the confirmation popup window, click Yes, Delete!

    On deletion, the page redirects to the Numbers screen.

    Save NumberClick to save your edits and return to the Numbers screen.
