Many customizable automated processes performed by the LiveVox system are defined in the Jobs section. This section is read-only. Any and all adjustments to the configured jobs have to be requested through LiveVox.

The Jobs tool allows the following general criteria for each reporting job:

  • Desired report type selected from the available Reporting Suite categories
    • Inbound Reports
    • Call Reports
    • Campaign Reports
    • ACD Reports
    • Billing Reports
  • The scope of the report
    • Client
    • Call Center
  • Delivery frequency
    • End of campaign (EOC)
    • Scheduled for intermittent delivery
    • End of day (EOD)
  • Delivery method
    • E-mail
    • SFTP

Automated jobs for all standard reports can be scheduled through the Jobs tool. Contact the LiveVox Customer Care Team to request and create these jobs.

To view a job select its name from the Job drop-down list. To include disabled jobs, check Show disabled box. The various steps of the automation are listed in the General tab in the order in which each step was created; along with the step's Name (assigned by LiveVox, general description), Type (CDR download, IF Job Step, Email, etc.), Next Success Step (what happens if step works), and Next Failure Step (what happens if the step does not work). The trigger Type field is a view-only field that describes the trigger for the job:

  • Campaign: If the job requirement is to generate reporting job for every campaign. The job will run when a campaign ends (EOC).
  • Scheduled: If the job requirement is to post the reports every day (EOD), hourly, weekly or monthly.
  • FTPin: If you are using LiveVox SFTP site to upload campaign files, FTPin job and this type of trigger are set up by default to ensure a file is moved once it is posted to your SFTP site.

You can have as many Scheduled jobs as you would like but only one Campaign and one FTPin job.

Double-click a step's row to view the detailed settings involved with the step. An Email step will define who receives the generated email, an FTPOutCopy step will define where the file is copied, etc.

View when a job is to be started using the Schedules tab. The Next Execution column displays when the job will be performed again next.

The Job History tab tracks and displays jobs, when they were performed, and the outcome of each job. For details on the steps taken in each job, when they were performed, and the outcome of each step check Show steps box and click Search.

If under the Status column, you see anything other than a green Success there was an error or problem on that attempt to run the job. Each job is always configured to send out failure notifications to LiveVox.
