To add a new mapping into an input filter:

  1. On the Input Filter window, select the required input filter from the Input Filter(s) drop-down list.
    The input filter opens displaying the list of added mappings.  
  2. ClickAdd Mapping. The Add Mapping popup window appears.
  3. Specify the position, source columns, and transformation for each column of data, to be stored by LiveVox.
    • Position: Select the position column for the data fields.
    • Columns: Select the field from the default custom fields list. For descriptions of each source column, see the Source Column Descriptions section below.
    • Transformations: Select the transformation to be applied via the input filter and modify the information.
    • Data Type: This is a view-only field displayed for the Contact target type.
  4. Click Ok. The new mapping is displayed in the Input Filter editor.
  5. Repeat step for each column of the input filter file.
  6.  Click Save Filter.

To update an existing mapping in an input filter:

  1. On the Input Filter window, select the required input filter from the Input Filter(s) drop-down list. The input filter opens displaying the list of all added mappings.  
  2. Double click on the row you want to update.
  3. Modify the required values.
  4. Click Ok. The mapping is updated.
  5.  Click Save Filter.

To delete a mapping:

  1. On the Input Filter window, select the required input filter from the Input Filter(s) drop-down list. The input filter opens displaying the list of all added mappings.  
  2. Select the mapping that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete Mapping.
  4.  Click Save Filter.
