You can define synonyms or alternate words that the keyword recognition system can detect in place of the configured keywords or phrases. For example, you can set the system to consider the word invoice as bill of materials, or vice-versa. Similar to keywords, you can categorize and group the synonyms into a synonym list. The Synonyms dashboard displays a table of the synonyms list. 


You can customize the displayed report table as follows.

Display or hide certain columns in the table.
  1. Click the arrow next to any column heading, and then click the Columns option.
  2. If you want to display certain columns in the table, select the checkboxes next to their names.
  3. If you want to hide certain columns in the table, clear the checkboxes next to their names.
Sort the values in a column in ascending or descending order.Click the column heading once or twice as required. Alternatively, you can click the arrow next to the column heading, and then select the Sort Ascending or  Sort Descending option.
Filter the statistics based on a column.Click the arrow next to the column heading, and then use the Filters option. 
Lock or unlock a column.Click the arrow next to the column heading, and then click the Lock or Unlock option.
  • To search for a specific report, use the Filter field.
  • To delete a synonym list, select the synonym list that you want to delete and click Delete
  • To refresh the list, click the Refresh icon ().
  1. Click New
    The New Synonym List popup window appears.
  2. Specify a name for the synonym list. 
  3. Click Save
    The new synonym list appears on the table.  Once you created a new synonym list, you can add synonyms or keywords to the list. 
  1. Double-click the synonym list.
  2. On the Synonyms tab of the synonyms details page, click New
  3. Enter the new synonyms that you want to add to the synonym list.
  4. Click Save.
  • To search for a specific synonym, use the Filter field. 
  • To modify a synonym, select the synonym that you want to modify and click Edit or double-click the word, and make the changes in the Edit Synonym popup window.
  • To delete a synonym, select the word that you want to delete and click Delete.
  • To refresh the list of synonyms, click the Refresh icon (Refresh icon).

You can add unlimited synonyms to a synonym list.

The History tab displays the change history of the selected synonym list. The table shows the description of the changes made, the name of the user, and the date and time of all changes. The timestamp in the Changed On column is represented in Eastern Time.

  1. Select the synonym list that you want to modify and click Edit. Alternatively, double-click the synonym list that you want to modify, and then click the Settings tab.
  2. Change the name of the synonym list and click Save.

You can copy and use the synonym list created for other clients. 

To copy a synonym list:

  1. Click Copy.
    The Copy Synonym Lists from Another Client pop-up window appears.
  2. Select the client from the Client drop-down list.
    The synonym lists configured for the selected client appear in the Available column. 
  3. Select the desired synonym list(s) from the Available column and then click the right arrow to move it into the Selected column.

    • To filter the synonym list, use the Filter by name box.
    • To remove a synonym list from the Selected column, select the list and then click the left arrow.
    • To revert all your changes, click the reset icon.
  4. Click Save.
