You can use the Accounts subsection of the Account section to manage your accounts and associate them with contacts, tickets, and notes.
Filtering Accounts
You can search for accounts based on their name, classification, owner (agent or agent team), and other criteria by using the Advanced Search panel. This panel enables you to define the filter criteria and perform a search by using the Search button.
Creating an Account
To create an account:
- On the Configure tab, click Account > Accounts.
The Accounts List window appears. - Click Create.
The New Account window appears. - Specify values in the fields in the following sections:
- General: Enables you to add the account name, classification, type, website, industry, revenue, and other contact details. You can also assign the account to an agent or an agent team.
- Description: Enables you to specify a brief description of the account.
- Billing: Enables you to specify the billing address of the account.
- Shipping: Enables you to specify the shipping address of the account.
- Other: Enables you to specify the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code and the ticker symbol for an account related to industries.
- Click Save.
The account is created.
