Assigning a Designer Desktop to a Service

Only when you assign the desktop to a service and then assign the service to an agent. The agent will be able to access the designer desktop. 

To assign a designer desktop to a service:

1. Navigate to Configure > Services and then click Services.
   The Services window appears.
   

   Note: All the available services appear in the Services window.

2. Double-click and open the services for which you want to assign the desktop you just created.
   The Edit Services <opened service name and service ID> appears.
3. Click the Settings tab.
   
4. In the Settings tab, in the Agent Desktop field, select the desktop from the drop-down list.
5. Click Save.

The desktop is now assigned to a service.
