The Summary tab lists and summarizes the current set of Designer Desktops and the pages within each Desktop. You can view the Desktop ID, Description, Active Page of a Desktop, and the Published status of the Designer Desktop.

The Desktop panel on the left of the Summary tab displays the list of Desktops that are currently available and provides various tools to manage these Desktops. This panel provides you pre-built Desktops and allows you to build your own customized Desktops based on pre-built components. You can perform the following actions on this panel:

Add a New Desktop

You can configure a Designer desktop that allows you to customize the look and feel of the Agent Desktop and workflow. Designer Desktop supports all interactions between an Agent and LiveVox.

To add a new Designer desktop:

1. Click Add a desktop button on the left corner of the Desktop panel. The New Desktop screen appears.
2. Enter the Name of the Designer Desktop.
3. Enter a Description of the Designer Desktop. This is not a mandatory field.
   
4. Click the Save button to save the details.
   

The new Designer Desktop appears on the Summary tab as shown in the below image. This action automatically generates a new page named Initial under the new Desktop.

You can view the description of the selected desktop on the panel on the right and edit different aspects of it.

Edit Desktop Details

Follow the below procedure to edit the Designer desktop:

1. Select the Desktop you want to edit.
2. Double click the Desktop or click the  icon to edit the details of the Desktop. The Edit Desktop screen appears.
3. Update the following:
   1. Desktop Name
      
   2. Desktop Description
   3. Select Published, if you want to publish the Desktop.
4. Click the Save button to save the changes.
   

Copy a Desktop

You can copy an existing Desktop and the associated pages to build your Desktop.

To copy a Desktop:

1. Select the Desktop you want to copy.
2. Click  icon to copy the existing designer desktop and pages under the desktop.
3. Update the Desktop Name and Description.
4. Click the Save button to save the changes.
   

Delete a Designer Desktop and Associated Pages

1. Select the Desktop you want to delete.
2. Click the  icon to delete the desktop or click on Delete button in Edit window to perform the same action.
3. Confirm your action on the confirmation popup.
   
4. Click Yes to delete the Desktop.
   

Add Pages to Desktop

After you add the Designer Desktop, you can customize the Desktop by adding pages you want to be displayed on the Desktop.

To add a new page to a Desktop:

1. Click the plus sign (+) next to the Desktop to add a new page under the Desktop. The New Page screen appears.
2. Enter the name of the page in the Name field.
3. Enter the Description of the page.
4. Select the Set as active page? checkbox if you want this page to be displayed on the designer desktop.

5. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Edit a Designer Desktop Page

Follow the below procedure to edit a Designer Desktop Page:

1. Select the Designer Desktop Page you want to edit.
    
2. Click the  icon to edit the details of the Page. The Edit Page screen appears.
   
3. Update the following:
   1. Name
   2. Description
   3. Select Set as active page, if you want to set the page as active page for the Desktop.
      
4. Click the Save button to save the changes.
   
   

Copy a Designer Desktop Page

Follow the below procedure to copy a Designer Desktop Page and associate it to a preferred Desktop:

1. Select the Designer Desktop Page you want to copy.
2. Click  icon to copy the existing page.
3. Update the Name and Description of the Page.
4. Copy the Page to the required Designer Desktop.
   
5. Click the Save button to save the changes.
   
   

Delete a Designer Desktop Page

Follow the below procedure to delete a Designer Desktop Page:

1. Select the Designer Desktop Page you want to delete.
2. Click the  icon to delete the Page or click on Delete button in Edit window to perform the same action.
3. Confirm your action on the confirmation popup.
   
4. Click Yes to delete.
   

You can publish the Desktop by selecting Published check box on the Summary tab. After you publish the Designer Desktop, you can assign this Designer desktop on any Agent Desktop through Agent Desktop editor. See Agent Desktop - Designer Tab for information on assigning Designer Desktop to the required Agent Desktop.
