To create a new Export format:

  1. Click Add New Format from the bottom menu.

  2. Select the required editor from the Editor drop-down list. Currently, you have two options; Agent and Contact.
  3. Each format is represented by a unique Format Id once it is created.
  4. Enter the Name of the format. This Name is used to refer to the export format throughout the configuration manager.
  5. Enter the Description to provide additional information about the export format.
  6. Select the desired field delimiter from the Delimiter drop-down menu.
  7. Select the line break style from the Line Break drop-down menu.
  8. Select Sort By Field from the drop-down list. This defines how the results should be arranged in the export file.
  9. Select Sort Order from the drop-down list to set the results in Ascending or Descending.
  10. Select Add Quotes To from the drop-down list. You can use this option to specify if no fields, all fields, or only those containing the delimiter should be placed in quotes.
  11. Select the Print Header checkbox if you want to include a header row in the export file.
  12. Add the mapping to the format. For more information, see Add Mapping.
  13. Click Save Format to create a new export format.
