Depending on your role, you can chat with one or more agents through the Agents widget (tabular view) of the voice monitor dashboard.

You can chat with a maximum of 10 agents.

To chat with one or more agents:

  1. Access the voice monitor dashboard at the enterprise or call center level.

  2. In the tabular view of the Agents widget, in the rows displaying the names of the agents with whom you want to chat, select the checkboxes.

  3. Click the Chat icon.
    The Chat window appears.
  4. Enter your messages (maximum characters: 1024) for the agents, and then press Enter.

    Your messages are sent to the respective agents.
  • If you receive a chat message from an agent when the Chat window is not open, the number of missed messages appears next to the Chat icon: 
  • If you navigate away from the LiveVox Portal, the agents can no longer send you chat messages.
  • The Chat window closes automatically after 60 minutes of inactivity.
