After 10 minutes in the Not Ready state, an agent who is logged in to the agent desktop via a persistent PSTN-based audio path will have their audio path disconnected. The agent is not logged out but presented with the option to re-establish their audio path or log out of the agent desktop. This feature does not apply to agents who are logged in via a VoIP audio path.
- The agent is presented with a message that indicates that they have been disconnected due to inactivity.
- The agent can re-establish their audio path by clicking the Reconnect button or log out by clicking the Sign Out button.
After being disconnected, the Agents widget on the monitor dashboard displays the agent's state as Not Ready.
