Business units are divisions within an organization.  Business units enable you to have a comprehensive view of the organization and view how information flows between organization levels within the company. 

To add a business unit:

  1. Go to Configure > Services > Business Unit.
  2. Click the add icon . The Add Business Unit window appears.

  3. In the Name field, enter the business unit name.
  4. From the Manager drop-down, select a manager for the business unit.
  5. Click Save.

The Associated Entities tab displays whether the associated entity is an agent team or a call center. This data is populated when you add business units to call centers (Configure > Services > Call Centers) or agent teams (Configure > Agents > Agent Teams).
