Accessing a Profile

To access a profile:

  1. On the Configure tab, click Dialing Config > Profiles.
    The Profiles window appears.
  2. In the Dialing Profiles field, select the profile that you want to access.
    The profile and its settings appear in the Profiles window.

Profiles Window

The Profiles window contains the following tabs and buttons:
Tabs

  • General: Displays a collection of policies that comprise the selected profile. The details pertaining to the region (state and area code), the period (day, weekday, or weekend), and the dialing restrictions are displayed.
  • Associated Entities: Displays the clients and services associated with the selected profile. This association is defined in the Service and Client settings of the LiveVox Portal.
  • Change History: Displays a summary of changes made to the selected profile.
  • Map: Displays a visual representation of the selected profile. You can view the details for each region, based on the policies created, by hovering over the region.

Buttons

  • Add Policy: Creates a policy within the dialing profile.
  • Delete Policy: Deletes the selected policy.
  • Copy Profile: Copies the selected dialing profile.
  • Add Profile: Creates a dialing profile.
  • Delete Profile: Deletes the selected dialing profile.
  • Save Profile: Saves all changes on the selected dialing profile.
All the time values that appear in the Profiles window are represented in Eastern Time (EST).

Creating a Profile

To create a profile:

  1. On the Configure tab, click Dialing Config Profiles.
    The Profiles window appears.
  2. Click Add Profile.
    The Profile Name window appears.
  3. Enter a name to identify the profile, and then click OK.
    The Name field in the Profiles window displays the name that you entered.

  4. If required, in the Description field, enter a description for the profile.

  5. Click Save Profile.
    The profile is created.
  • After a profile is created, it appears as an option in the Dialing Profile field on the Settings tab of the Client and Services windows. 
  • Service-level profile overrides the client-level profile.


Copying a Profile

To copy a profile:

  1. On the Configure tab, click Dialing Config Profiles.
    The Profiles window appears.
  2. In the Dialing Profiles field, select the profile that you want to copy, and then click Copy Profile.
    The Copy Profile window appears.

  3. In the New Profile Name field, enter a name to identify the profile.
  4. If required, in the New Profile Description field, enter a description for the profile.
  5. Click Copy.
    The profile is copied, and the new profile appears in the Profiles window.

Deleting a Profile

A deleted profile cannot be restored.

To delete a profile:

  1. On the Configure tab, click Dialing Config Profiles.
    The Profiles window appears.
  2. In the Dialing Profiles field, select the profile that you want to delete, and then click Delete Profile.
    The Confirm window appears.

  3. Click OK.
    The profile is deleted.
