After you add the content to the Library, you can easily determine the training needs of agents and assign one or more items to an agent. E-Learning Assignment allows you to search for the appropriate training material from the Content Library. This assignment of the e-Learning module creates an e-Learning task in the Work Queue of the selected agent.


  1. Navigate to WFO > E-Learning > Assignment. The E-Learning Assignment window opens.

  2. Search for the appropriate training material from the Content Library and select one or more items. You can use the following search criteria while searching the Content Library:

    1. Category

    2. Sub-category

    3. Creator of Library item

    4. Template

    5. Type of material - PPT, recording

    6. Title of Library item

  3. Select an agent or agents who require the training.

  4. Assign a Due Date for the e-Learning material. The task associates with the library content should have a due date assigned to it.

  5. Set the priority for the task. Priority types would be High (to be completed immediately), Medium (to be completed within the next 48 hours), or Low (to be completed as work allows).

  6. Click Accept.

  7. Click Save and then click Publish.

To view only specific assignments, you can use the Advanced Search option.

  1. Click on the Advanced Search icon on the top right corner of the Assignment window.

  2. Enter values in any/all of the following fields, as required:

    1. Name of the assignment
    2. Categories

    3. Priority

    4. Status

    5. Assigned to

    6. Created by

    7. Assigned date range

    8. Completed date range

    9. Created date range

    10. Due date range

  3. Click Search.

To create a new E-Learning Assignment:

  1. In the Task Editor(New Task) window, Specify values in the following fields.

    Field

    Description

    Task Name

    Provide a name for the task.
    CategorySelect a relevant category.
    DescriptionEnter the description.
    PrioritySelect a priority.
    Due DateEnter the due date in MM/DD/YYYY or select
    StatusShows the status of the Assignment.
    ContentShows the available content
    Assigned ToShows the list of the assigned content.
  2. On the Content section, click Manage Content.
    The Manage Content window appears.
  3. Move the Content from the Available section to the Selected section.
  4. Click Accept.
  5. On the Assigned To section, click Assign Agents.
    The Assign Agents window appears.
  6. Move the Content from the Available section to the Selected section.
  7. Click Accept.
  8. Click Save and Publish.
    A new e-learning assignment is created.
