Introduction

LiveVox Communicator (LVC) integrates seamlessly with the LiveVox communication platform and virtually eliminates configuration and technical competency requirements. LiveVox assumes all responsibility for the configuration, due to which the settings are not accessible. This guarantees interoperability with the LiveVox VoIP platform and eliminates accidental changes that could cause your phone to stop working.

This document describes the features and functionality of the LiveVox Communicator (LVC) 3.15 tool and explains how to use it.

To use LVC version 3.15, you must be an existing NA3, NA4, or NA5 customer.

Note

Because terminal services with thin clients require separate requirements, let your Implementation Manager/Account Team know if you are using thin clients.

  1. Save the installation file locally.
  2. Run the installation file.

    Unless an issue arises, do not modify the default values for installation.


  3. When the installation is complete, run LVC.

    Note
    • When you run the program is run for the first time, if prompted, allow your firewall to unblock LVC. To function properly, LVC needs full access to your system.
    • For installation switches, contact the LiveVox VoIP Implementation Team or the LiveVox Customer Care Team.
